Ian Harvey established Harvey Outback Travel and their signature HOT Tours to offer a more personalised and flexible day tour experience for people visiting or living in Kununurra. Ian with his wife Michele have extensive 4WD experience travelling throughout the Kimberley and other remote areas of Australia, and have lived and worked in both East and West Kimberley towns over the past 30 years.
​They now call Kununurra - 'home'.

Kununurra, with it's spectacular variety of landscapes and activities in every direction, truely is a 'Diamond in the North'.  Entering the 'Kimberley' - Tourism Industry stemmed from the recognition that whilst there is so much to see and do in the Kununurra and surrounding areas, people often miss out because they don't have a 4WD or have only a limited amount of time to spend here.

Our goal is to give people a chance to experience the area like a local but with minimal environmental and social impact.  Whether you're here on holidays or for work, broken down, new to town, or visiting friends and family, come on one of our full day or half day HOT Tours - It really is:
